As an external student how to apply for IPICS 2012?
Applicants should already have passed basic IT Security courses and must show a keen interest in IT Security. They must be fluent in English language and willing to work in an international team and surrounding. Please use the IPICS 2012 application form to apply for participation in IPICS 2012. Please designate in the application form that you are a non-IPICS student (i.e., that you are a student, although not from an IPICS university). In the form, please provide (name & email) information from your local (contact) professor. You may also be asked to provide/upload a proof that you are a student (e.g. school identification or your tuition bill). The application deadline is 23/07/2012.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact the local organiser.
IPICS ECTS acknowledgement
The IPICS course ends with a group presentation and requires students to hand in an essay. Topics will be assigned at the end of IPICS. Both, presentation and essay will be used to grade students. The IPICS offers upon completion a certificate stating course content, lecturers, duration, and final grade. This certificate will be honored with 4 ECTS points by the IPICS Universities. External students will receive the same certificate. Please ensure with your home institution whether and how this certificate is accepted. Certificates will only be awarded if the course is finished completely, meaning fully attended and with passed home exam (essay).
